PDF 2.0 not supported

Because we still run on dotNet <4 we can’t open PDF 2.0 files with readPDF. And can’t use Invoke code in VB or C# to open them either. I tried using python but that has other problems right now:

Pip Install with embedded python not working

Using the embedded python(i double checked that the checkbox is set) the Pip Install activity always give me an error: “The system cannot find the path specified” If i enter the embedded install manually and remove the checkbox it gives me the error: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\python-3.7.3-embed-amd64\python.exe: No module named pip What is the Problem here. Changing the Force Flag makes no difference and modules is {“pypdf”} Greetings Marvin

@Allan_Zimmermann you stated you are not going to update to GitHub - UiPath/CoreWF: WF runtime ported to work on .NET 6 is that really feasible? In the future more an more things wont be working in old .Net anymore.

So is there any alternative for me to read PDF 2.0?

Yeah, short answer: yes.

Longer answer: yes, but it’s not ready just yet. OpenRPA 2.0 has to be cross-platform and run headless, which means I also need to add FaaS (Function-as-a-Service) to OpenCore. That’s not a small change, so it’ll take a bit of time.
