Nodered Package Installation Issue

We’re running openflow 1.4.34 in a ubuntu server in Azure VM. I’ve accessed to internet within that server but when I try to install packages within nodered I get below error. We are not running the server behind proxy. Could you please assist?

You have a dns issue. If node/npm cannot resolve domain names you cannot install packages.

Thanks @Allan_Zimmermann, could you please throw some light on this on how to check and resolve?

I can install npm packages directly on the server, but not able to install only within the node-red container.
