They asked me about its exact limits, but I couldn’t find a clear answer in the documentation yet.
Could you provide more details on this? Specifically, what are the boundaries of the “free” tier, and what’s planned for the future? As in what does after hours exactly mean? And when this will start being enforced, currently it doesn’t seem to be enforced, am I right?
We need to understand this to plan properly and see what we can work with under the free limits, and what would be the costs once we break that limit.
If you run OpenCore yourself, there is no limit.
But if you want the same control as we do, you can add a resource type that defines different tiers.
If, however, you are running an agent in our cloud at https://app.openiap.io, it costs us money. Therefore, we charge for agents that can run 24/7. To give people something to “play with,” we do allow you to run an agent for up to 4 hours. We may adjust this number as we see fit since we are paying for it.
