Hi Allan, hope all is good.
There is a bug when backing up from an entity record detailed view.
Typically, after you inspect a record from an entity in detail, then you want to click back and get back to the same view, eventually to the same filtered records.
Currently, any ‘go back’ from entity record detailed view, breaks the Database (Entities) view. I think the video explains it better 
and for some reason, whenever I click the “Database” or navigate to “Entities” on the breadcrumb from a detailed view, it always opens “forms” entities by default, even if previously I was on a completely different entity
I don’t think that is the issue but just to rule it out.
Could you clear your user settings ( go the the user menu where logout also is, and click “Clear settings” )
Nope, it doesn’t solve it in my case.
Forgot to mention, mine is a self-hosted instance, v.1.5.12.20.
I tried to replicate same on app.openiap.io, but it seems to work as expected there, and persists search filters.
Maybe it is some config value on my local instance. I’ll try looking there. Thanks
Ok, I found the fix. The Clear Filters and Settings didn’t seem to actually remove the usersettings for my user from db, so I manually removed them. I had about 3 or 4 such settings file, so I guess it somehow got bugged not knowing which to apply!?
After I manually removed them, it got fixed itself. Search filters persists, and I can go back, the state is persisted.
